Wiffen Swim Clinic Terms and Conditions

1. I have received details of the activity to be undertaken and give consent for my child to take part in all the activities indicated. I understand that my child may be asked to perform various activities, both in and out of the water, on equipment associated with their particular discipline. Some activities  will require my child to give maximum effort. I have not been informed by any medical practitioner that participation by my child in such activities would be dangerous.
2. To the best of my knowledge, the information given above is complete and accurate

3. I undertake to keep the organisers informed of any changes that may arise in relation to the above information.

4. It may be necessary, in an emergency, for the team staff to have the necessary authority to obtain any urgent treatment which may be required. By signing the declaration below, I am giving consent for any medical or surgical treatment recommended by competent medical authorities to be administered, where it would be contrary to my child’s interest for any delay to be incurred by seeking my personal consent.
5. I am aware that my child is required to behave appropriately.   In the event that inappropriate action involves expense, I accept responsibility to meet any such costs incurred.
6. I am aware that the information declared may be retained by the organisers and will only be made available to those persons who will be responsible for supervising my child but confidentiality of the information will be respected at all times. 
7.Every effort will be made to run this course to completion, but we reserve the right to cancel at any point should government guidelines change to prevent the safe running of the event. If this is the case, refunds will be given to those sessions not run.

8. Once a firm booking with payment is made, the payment is not refundable.  If we are able to fill your place, we will refund your booking fee minus a £10 administration fee. We reserve the right to refuse your booking without reason.  Under this circumstance you will receive a full refund.  Additionally, if you have booked on the wrong session for your ability/ age, we will transfer your booking to the other session.  If this session is full we will refund your fee.

9. By attending a Wiffen Twins Clinic, you are aware of the risks associated with both pool and dry land-based activities and accept responsibility for any injuries sustained. All sessions at the clinics will be led by trained and qualified staff and instructions from the team must be always followed to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Wiffen Twins Clinics will not be held liable if a swimmer or parent/guardian does not follow instructions from team staff and subsequently injures themselves.

10. By signing the booking form, you have agreed that the swimmer taking part is medically fit to partake in strenuous exercise. Wiffen Twins Clinics must be made aware of any conditions, medical or health related that may prevent this.

11. Attendees are responsible for arranging travel to and from their booked clinic.

12. Regard photographs and video footage, please be aware that Wiffen Twins Clinics may wish to take individual and group photographs/videos of those swimmers attending clinics for our promotional material (website/social media). By signing the booking form, it is assumed that permission for photographs is given unless stated otherwise when booking.  Owing to the external interest in Wiffen Twins Clinics.

13. A parent or guardian must be on site for the duration of the clinic.

14. Swimmers are responsible for providing their own food and drink for the clinic they attend. Wiffen Swim Clinics will not be held responsible for any dietary or allergy issues that arise due to consumption of food and drink. Please ensure any allergies are documented on the booking form to ensure the Wiffen Twins Clinics team are aware.

15. Regarding the age of swimmers attending our events, the guidelines provided on each clinic page is based on Age on Day of the event.  

16. Please make sure everything brought to the clinic has your name on it. We cannot take any responsibility for the damage or loss to personal belongings that are brought on site to each clinic.

17. GDPR: Wiffen Swim Clinics will store and use your personal data for the purpose of administering the AP Race Clinic events. The data will be collected and stored in line with GDPR guidance for sports organisations, outlined by the Sport and Recreation Alliance. I understand by submitting my booking and registering for Wiffen Swim Clinics, I am consenting to my data being used this way.
