What a race!
Representing Loughborough University at the BUCS championships, the top three spots went to Loughborough in the 400m freestyle this evening which also included James Guy as a guest swimmer. James led for most of the race but Daniel’s closing speed came through as he took the title with a new BUCS record, Tyler coming in second and Nathan storming through to claim the 3rd place against stiff competition.
Daniel is still the only swimmer to hold 6 BUCS titles and 6 BUCS records simultaneously (400, 800, 1500m freestyle SC and LC).
Their next competition is the Edinburgh International where Daniel and Nathan will represent Ireland.
